The 7 & Up Kids Club is designed to support children during important growth years before orthodontic treatment begins. It allows our team to monitor development closely while keeping visits fun, engaging, and rewarding!

Why Age 7 Matters

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children begin seeing an orthodontist by age 7 and continue with routine checkups every 6 months. These visits allow us to:

  • Monitor jaw growth and development
  • Track how permanent teeth are erupting
  • Identify crowding, bite issues, or spacing concerns early
  • Time treatment strategically for the best, most efficient results
  • Reduce the need for more complex treatment later

Even if treatment is not needed right away, early monitoring gives parents clarity and peace of mind!

What Is the 7 & Up Kids Club?

To make routine orthodontic checkups something kids look forward to, we’ve created the 7 & Up Kids Club—a fun, interactive program that turns progress into participation.

This club is intended for:

  • Children who are not yet ready for orthodontic treatment
  • Patients who have completed Phase One treatment and are waiting for Phase Two

Members typically visit us every 6 months for a brief growth and development check.

At Each Visit:
